Every Monday, we go on Purdue's campus to go to lapsit at the library and then we usually meet up with Daddy afterwards for lunch.

It always takes a few minutes for Brycen to warm up.

Instruments are his favorite.

Definitely a future teacher's pet. He LOVES adults (especially ones besides the Mommy and Daddy he gets stuck with playing everyday), and will take playing with adults any day to kids. He has learned very early on that adults are much more likely to listen and do whatever needed to make him happy. We were at a friend's house yesterday and Bryce found the other kids quite a bother (especially younger kids) and would actually hold up his hand to stop them so that he could pass.
He, instead, took the other kids' parents by the hands and took them on laps around the house, leading them in whatever direction he chose and they always followed, and then he would pull on their legs until they sat down and they would play ball. They didn't mind one bit and would always say, "Brycen, you are adorable, what next?" He has asked to be informed if you ever come across a child that asks anything even close to that.

Showing off the skills the teacher taught him, he always wants her to show him and then he will come show me...and start a collection for me to hold so that he can go and have her show him another.

The teacher has a puppet dog that gives each child a hug before they leave, Brycen loves it.
After lap sit, we usually play in the kid's area for a few minutes and Brycen was determined to make me fit through this today:

And he got even more angry every time I claimed to not be able to follow him through that sliver of space in between the play palace and the wall and was determined to not leave until I did so. How to reason with an 18 month old child? There's only so many times I want to publicly admit that I am indeed not going to fit just to be screamed at. Luckily, other moms and the librarian thought it was pretty humorous (since we were in a library making quite a scene) and I am almost positive that is the main reason he continued to do it, he loves attention. If only I felt the same way...
