Temples

The little boys and I are currently in Utah! My little brother is getting ready to go on a 2 year mission to the Philippines for our church so thanks to some amazing Southwest deals, we were able to fly out to hear his farewell talk and spend time with family.

We took the last flight going from Indianapolis to Salt Lake last Saturday and it worked out pretty nice. We got a good night's rest the night before (as opposed to always walking up at 3am for the early flights), packed and cleaned most the day, left with plenty of time to spare--kids napped in car, and we had dinner with Daddy before taking off. I was really worried now that Cian is mobile, flying would be a nightmare. And well, it wasn't perfect by any means as for all he wanted to do was crawl under seats and up and down the aisle, but both planes were half empty so we had the middle seat open for him to use (making it all possible) and had not too many people to bother with his unhappiness, whenever I grabbed him off the floor.

While in Salt Lake City:

Just opened this year, City Creek Mall. Right across from Temple Square. I remember going to General Conference my Freshman Year at BYU and parking on top of the ZCMI center. It was soon closed and where it once was, is this beauty:

"FISH"

Absolutely gorgeous. And when there's water, there's a wet boy.
He got soaked!

LOVE this picture!

Isn't he adorable?!

We also got tickets for the Brigham City Temple Open House.

Brycen's drive up there.

Simply Beautiful.

Brycen was practically speechless through the whole tour except when he said, "It's Beautiful" upon walking into the Celestial Room.

He sure loved his first time inside the temple.

 Cian did amazingly well too.

Love my boys (and missing my dear hubby).

And my family (those that could come).

So happy you're in Utah and made it to the Brigham City temple open house! I totally understand about the impact that place has on children--Azucena just loved being in there and was WAY more reverent than she's ever been. :)
