Reverse Reverse!

Do me a favor. Scroll the bottom of this post and read it backwards. It's how the pictures uploaded.

Sometimes this happens. Ice cream for lunch. And life goes on, even happier.

To Brycen's dismay, our snowman is no Frosty. Sigh. We still like him though.
He will only use it for breakfast but it's a start.

So relaxing!

I bought this seat at a garage sale for cheap, last summer? The summer before that?? I was SO excited for Cian to use it. It's one that is perfect. As a baby (it reclines), as a toddler, it can even become a booster. Cian. absolutely. refused. until this week.

(LOVE Cian's bedhead) Brycen sat down and patted the place next to him for Cian to sit down. Love these moments!

I love my boys. I love my food. I can't remember the last meal I ate without a child on my lap...

Aren't I lucky??

My view.

Daddy's dinner view.

To use our Christmas gift card and celebrate Daddy's interview at BYU, we went out as a family.

I have 35 pictures that look kinda like this.

They save us from going crazy indoors.

Our friends we party with a couple times a week.

You can kinda see my highlights here. I LOVE them. The change I need in the dead of winter.

My friend graduated from Cosmology school back in November and asked me to be her "model" for her apprenticeship interview. She needed to do an updo, partial highlights, and a hair trim. I don't mind being pampered. Ever. Even better, for free!
One Sunday, it rose to a toasty 32 degrees! It called for a walk around the neighborhood.

The 25 second mark.

Too good to be true??

A birthday party at Chuck E Cheese rescued us from a 2 week run at the house! One week of the two being so cold and snowy that all activities were cancelled (church, preschool, etc). We. needed. this.

While Daddy was interviewing at BYU, the parts for our "boat" came in the mail. My helpers contributed the first hour and then I fixed their contributions for the next 4. After all said and done, I am quite proud of the accomplishment.

Falling Back in Time

It's January and -15 degrees outside with a windchill that makes it feel like -40.
I want to record this because it's CRAZY.
There is a huge reason we did not go to grad school in Minnesota, just saying...
I told you, my new phone is *awesome*

Getting trash cans to the curb for garbage day was quite the ordeal!

I feel like I have been stuck indoors for weeks.
Both boys were or are sick.
Holiday craziness.
Life threatening blizzard.

Most of the Christmas clothes have been tried on.

Daddy has an interview at BYU on Thursday!

Puzzles have been put together.
And there has been A LOT of trying to warm up either...sitting in front of the "fire". Our favorite garage-sale-find of a space heater.

Or sun bathing.
We are down to 1/2 gallon of milk and I'm already rationing it to the kiddos.
I have a double digit rule for basically everything in life.
It most definitely applies to the (positive) outside temperature for runs to the store....
And what time I usually make it to things in the 'morning', in case you are curious.

Beautiful 20s are in the forecast!!...Thank goodness. We. are. ready.
-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

To cheer up both myself and my sister-in-law, I am trying to play catch up on the warmer times.
Yes, we have 3 of these hats. Good story to come...

Halloween 2013: We were invited to go pumpkin picking for free at this awesome Purdue field. It included a hayride to the field and was SO fun.

I gave Bryce a mini heart attack when I willingly gutted my own pumpkin. Oh, look at that green grass and sunshine. And me in a short sleeve shirt. Sigh...

Finished Products.

He loves loves cheese. It has to be shredded though. A mess and a half. Always. And he knows it!

While Brycen was a preschool one day, we did a fun Halloween assembly line making witch hats out of cookies, orange frosting, and Hersey Kisses to have as a snack when Brycen came home. SO easy and fun.
I desperately tried to bribe Cian to wear this for Halloween this--I guess, last--year. Isn't it SO cute?? BUT He is stubborn just like his...M...Dad. :)

And he wore his 12 month size costume from last year.

2 days before Halloween we went trick-or-treating at a senior living place down the street with friends, I LOVE this picture of Brycen.

It POURED Halloween night. Cian and I exited the night early but Brycen was die hard! We had to promise him that he could go trick-or-treating at home for him to stop. "But there are more lights on!!" Is what he would say. We got drenched.

Between holidays, we did alot of this...

Fall was SO gorgeous.

Playing in the leaves after a Temple session early November.

Thanksgiving 2013.
Bryce and my brother willingly drove hours and paid money to freeze at the BYU Notre Dame game. THE coldest game since 1991. In case you were wondering.

Oh, how we LOVE visitors.

This is my sister-in-law, Jenn. She looks so kind and innocent, right? She (or my brother) mischievously stole those 3 BYU hats that I mentioned earlier, wrapped them, and shipped them back a month later for us to open on Christmas Day. Oh I totally I can't wait for next year! They have it coming...

I love this picture captured while Black Friday shopping.
We really did have a wonderful Thanksgiving. Totally spoiled with Arizona visitors that braved the cold to be with us.  Played some volleyball,  Jenn and I saw 'Catching Fire' in theaters, made my first cheesecake, cooked our first turkey, and laughed with family.

Sadly, I don't have many pictures since my camera broke.
2014 is going to be different, I can feel it!
